Inside The World of Auras
The aura is a field of expanding bubbles or circles of light, found outside of the physical body, emanating from our skin to several metres away.
In the world of energy healing there are three systems that link our physical and spiritual energies and interact to form our overall energetic anatomy: the Channels or Meridians; the Centres, most well known are the Chakras; and the Fields, one of which is the Auric Field.
All living things have auras! The aura is an electromagnetic field that emanates from all living matter. It is through the aura that we receive information and is sometimes referred to as the “psychic atmosphere” of a person, or “magnetic atmosphere.” The aura also communicates messages from us to the outer world, we’re all broadcasting like radio stations whether you are aware of it or not.
Also known as a biofield, energy field, or, in scientific terms, the electromagnetic field, auras are an important spiritual component of our energy bodies and they play an important role in our general well-being. It is the interchange of your internal energies and the energies around you. A healthy aura can extend for metres around you and prevents any non-serving energies from entering your energy bodies that could cause unbalance within you. This means that energy comes into your aura, which allows you to read it and then react to it. Energy also flows out of you into the environment. This is very important for healthy relationships, intuition and for keeping you safe.
The aura is made up of distinct layers in much the same way as an onion has layers that extend out from its centre. In my perception the aura consists of twelve different bands of light, each band operates at a different frequency, having its own function and is energetically connected to one of the chakras. It is because of this you can work with your chakras by working with the corresponding auric layer and vice versa.
“The Aura Is Dynamic And Changes”
This means that the auric layers are not static and change depending on the energies around and within you. Depending on these energies the aura may change shape, size, frequency, colour and even location. Our energetic fields respond to trauma and healing energies. They also react to emotions and love; when two people interrelate, their energy fields blur and merge. We are able to exchange energy with others near us, but we can also swap energy with people hundreds of miles away. We can also converse energetically with plants, animals, and even inanimate objects.
You are a unique energy being, no one will ever be the same as you – past, present or future. You are a unique expression. This includes your aura and your perceptions of them. As such it is important not to get too fixed and stuck on what you think or have been told what the auric layers look like, what colour they are and indeed what they even do.
